Hollie McNish | artist statement
Hollie McNish is a published UK poet and spoken word artist, based between London and Cambridge. She has released two poetry albums, Touch and Push Kick, both to critical acclaim, and a first collection of written poetry, Papers, published by Greenwich Exchange, London.
Nicole Small | artist statement
Nicole Small is a fashion and portrait photographer based in Montreal, Canada. The journey began 5 years ago when she worked as a designer for her own clothing line, “NiXX”, for women. After working alongside photographers as a designer, she grew quite fascinated by the camera and the many ways the camera allowed one to capture an image. Now five years later, she constantly has been driven by light and shadow, fashion and portraiture.

In 1957, Milton Rogovin was declared “The Top Communist in Buffalo”. In reality, he was an optometrist actively registering Black voters. Refusing to be silenced, Rogovin dedicated his lifetime to capturing the humanity of working people, the poor and the forgotten ones. Milton's photographs are a part of the documentary photography collections of the Library of Congress, the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Center for Creative Photography and other distinguished institutions around the world.
