The Saboteur’s Spin: The Iranian girl’s soccer team has been caught between the rocks-for-brains and the hard-headed, with FIFA banning them from the upcoming Games. While originally invited to participate, FIFA deemed wearing a hijab to be in breach of their rules. For there part, Iran’s National Olympic Committee refused to let them play without a hijab, and so, all their training will be for naught.
